Deck overview

This Bant deck is helmed by Isu the Abominable, focusing on leveraging a high density of snow permanents and snow spells for continuous card advantage and board scaling. Early turns are dedicated to establishing mana velocity through snow dorks like Sculptor of Winter and ramp spells like Into the North. Once deployed, Isu serves as an experimental frenzy style engine for snow cards, playing lands and casting creatures straight from the top of the library while accumulating +1/+1 counters. The deck transitions into the midgame by assembling large combat beaters that scale directly with snow permanents, such as Abominable Treefolk, Conifer Wurm, and Marit Lage's Slumber. While it features defensive tap-down tools and efficient spot removal, it wins exclusively through fair combat damage and remains susceptible to repeated board sweepers.
