Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black artifact aristocrats strategy commanded by Imotekh the Stormlord. The game plan revolves around exploiting Imotekh's ability to create two 2/2 Necron Warrior tokens whenever one or more artifact cards leave the graveyard. The list accomplishes this through repeated unearth activations, cheap recursion enablers like Tortured Existence and Phyrexian Reclamation, and loops involving Scrap Trawler and Myr Retriever. Once an engine is established, sacrifice outlets like Ashnod's Altar and Krark-Clan Ironworks convert the tokens into copious mana while death-trigger payoffs like Marionette Master, Mirkwood Bats, and Disciple of the Vault drain opponent life totals. Strong board sweepers like Living Death and Damnation keep opposing boards manageable, while Grave Pact turns your token sacrifices into asymmetric creature suppression. The deck features resilience via graveyard recursion, though it remains vulnerable to early graveyard exile and artifact board wipes.
