Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Discard Control strategy commanded by Nicol Bolas, the Ravager. The deck's primary goal is to strip opposing hands of resources through symmetric and asymmetric discard effects, lock down extra card draws with Narset, Parter of Veils, and wipe opposing boards with efficient sweepers like Toxic Deluge and Star of Extinction. In the early game, the deck accelerates mana using signets and talismans to deploy Bolas on Turn 4. On Turn 6, the deck establishes its dominant onset by transforming Bolas into a high-loyalty planeswalker or resolving Sire of Insanity to empty all hands. With opposing options depleted, the deck wins through steady combat damage using Bolas, Sauron, the Dark Lord, and reanimated opposing creatures over several turns. The deck excels at resource denial but requires time to close out games.
