Deck overview

Sauron, the Dark Lord helms a resilient Grixis reanimator and Ring-tempt deck designed to generate immense card advantage and board presence. Sauron amasses an Orc Army whenever opponents cast spells, protecting itself behind a punishing ward cost while turning Ring temptations into explosive wheel effects. The primary game plan revolves around filling the graveyard with high-impact creatures like Terror of the Peaks, Razaketh, the Foulblooded, and Ancient Brass Dragon, then cheating them onto the battlefield via Reanimate, Animate Dead, or Living Death. A secondary beatdown engine utilizes nine Nazgul to rapidly scale Wraith power. Devastating Onslaught and mass recursion provide decisive finishing turns.
