Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Gruul midrange stompy build centered on casting its commander, Ashaya's Enduring Bond, a legendary sorcery. The deck deploys low-cost legendary creatures and ramp pieces on turns one and two to satisfy the commander casting restriction. On turn three, casting the commander triggers Discover 3, establishing the primary engine. Commander tax naturally scales subsequent casts into Discover 5 and Discover 7, cascading into high-impact threats without requiring additional card investment. The deck leverages exile-casting synergies through payoffs like Nalfeshnee, Keeper of Secrets, and Flaming Tyrannosaurus, which amplify spell velocity into direct burn damage and token swarms. Massive legendary threats like Etali, Primal Conqueror, Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient, and Terror of the Peaks apply overwhelming combat pressure. Supporting protection cards like Heroic Intervention and Hajar, Loyal Bodyguard shield the board against sweepers. The deck overwhelms opponents through sustained card advantage from the command zone and closes the game through massive combat damage and burn.
