Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Strong, the Brutish Thespian leads a mono-green +1/+1-counter and fight-based combat deck. The core plan is to ramp heavily, land Strong ahead of curve, then turn cheap fight spells into enrage triggers: every point of damage he takes makes him bigger, while radiation counters actually gain him life instead of costing it. The deck finishes through commander damage and trample-boosted alpha strikes like Overwhelming Stampede rather than through combos. A dense package of land ramp, reach creatures, fight spells, and single-target recursion keeps the game plan straightforward, with Kami of Whispered Hopes acting as a counter doubler and Spring-Leaf Avenger providing repeatable graveyard recovery. The radiation subtheme is shallow, but it supports a few utility pieces like Mariposa Military Base and Assemble the Entmoot without dominating the strategy.
