Deck overview

Haliya, Guided by Light leads a synergistic mono-white lifegain and go-wide token swarm deck designed to overwhelm opponents through exponential board growth and card velocity. The primary game plan establishes early lifegain enablers such as Soul Warden and Guide of Souls, enabling Haliya to draw an extra card every end step by easily reaching the three-life requirement. Mid-game turns focus on deploying potent token multipliers like Mondrak, Glory Dominus and recursive anthems like Cathars' Crusade and Archangel of Thune. This creates an ever-expanding army of heavily buffed creatures that threaten lethal combat damage across consecutive turns. Defensive staples like Teferi's Protection, Flawless Maneuver, and Myrel, Shield of Argive protect your development from disruption, while recursion from Sevinne's Reclamation ensures steady recovery. Although the deck lacks low-cost reactive removal for opposing noncreature combos, its compounding board presence, card draw consistency, and explosive finishers like Akroma's Will make it a formidable proactive powerhouse.
