Finally, power levels that mean something.
DeckCheck measures what actually matters: how fast your deck wins against real opposition. Not in a vacuum. Not based on feelings. Against three other players trying to stop you.
Every scan benchmarks your list against a shared scale so pods sit down with confidence, not guesswork.
Objective Numbers = Aligned Expectations
Every deck is measured with the exact same criteria that boils down to this: When it can most likely close a game at the earliest? Higher power means faster wins (or effective wins*), even when opponents fight back. When the whole pod knows the pace up front, nobody gets blindsided by a turn-four combo.
*Effective wins: The types of win conditions where a deck will establish oppressive control such that the game is effectively over on that turn-most often found in "stax" decks.
Old way
“My deck’s about a seven.” A subjective number that means something different to everyone and rarely survives the first few turns.
“It’s pretty strong.” Feelings and reputation stand in for data, leaving room for frustration.
“It’s expensive.” Price is a poor proxy for power; splashy cards can still miss the mark.
Outcome? Mismatched games, salty tables, and wasted time.
The better way
Deck A: Can win around turn 6 but folds to any interaction, so it plays closer to turn 8 in most games.
Deck B: Wins around turn 8 outright and still closes at the same pace with normal resistance.
Result? Both land at power 6—clearly defined, trackable, and easy to communicate before the first draw step.
Shared expectations mean balanced matches and better stories.
