DeckCheck is providing incorrect or misleading information. What's going on?

DeckCheck (via the AI it uses) will occasionally produce responses that are incorrect or misleading. This is known as "hallucinating" information and it's an error the AI creators are working to solve. With each update, these errors become more rare.

Common hallucinations you might encounter:

  • It recommends a card outside of your deck's color identity
  • It recommends a banned card
  • It recommends a card already in my deck or acts like a card is in my deck that is not
  • It incorrectly describes what a card does
  • It does not perfectly understand what a card does

Note: Please only report responses where the AI gets multiple things wrong or provides completely incorrect information. Minor misunderstandings about individual cards don't need to be reported.
